You will support Keele University and our Trust's academic team to carry out commissioned research and evaluation projects.

With the Trust's research delivery team you will also work across a range of studies, including observational research, novel drug therapy and clinical interventions, participating in the recruitment and follow up of patients to research studies, under the direction of research nurses and practitioners.

You will be involved in research projects across a range of specialty areas within mental health and physical health.

Working as part of a multi -professional Research and Innovation department you will work across both our academic and research delivery teams.

You will support the life cycle of local research projects from design through to publication, as well as supporting the delivery of national research projects.

  • Assisting with research projects, designing, collecting data, analysing, reporting and liaising with stakeholders
  • Communicating about and promote the work of the Research and Innovation department through appropriate media (personal interaction, websites, social media)
  • Delivering national NIHR portfolio research activity to time and target
  • Providing education and support to other staff about research methods, acting as a resource for those wishing to undertake research projects
  • Travel to Keel University and across the geography of the Trust as required by specific projects
