    We're seeking a future team member for the role of Regulatory Oversight Lead to join our Global Custody Operations Regulatory & Control Oversight team. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working on a Hybrid basis. (3 days a week in the office).

    In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
    • Manages a team responsible for supporting a business with first line of defence regulatory oversight management efforts as they relate to standard regulatory and policy requirements and program and project development.
    • Leads the reporting, response, analysis and preventative action oversight of any regulatory issues impacting Global Custody Operations.
    • Performs thematic analysis of Custody Operations regulatory breach performance, identifying and leading execution of tactical and strategic opportunities for improvement.
    • Manages the performance of assigned staff; coaches team members and provides guidance on project management. Acts as a point of contact with operational and business change teams on regulatory matters, seeking to ensure compliance with associated regulations is considered and adhered to by design.
    • Acts as point of contact for Global Custody Operations on all regulatory matters, preparing and delivering presentations and papers at a variety of regulatory fora, councils and working groups.
    • Supervises team in conducting control process validation to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations and manage risk.
    • Works with business unit managers to review and respond to reports issued by regulatory agencies or audit.
    • Guides team in activities that align to team, area and functional objectives. Contributes to the development of team standard operating procedures.
    • Tracks and reports on results and outcomes for assigned team. Provides reports on team metrics and dashboards and follows resource allocation guidelines.
    • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
    To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
    • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • Management experience in financial services preferred.
    • Global Asset Safety and UK CASS regulatory knowledge and experience preferred.
