Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

  • Executing warehouse functions and moving inventory between various UK storage and manufacturing locations.
  • Responsibility for carrying out goods movement, warehouse logistics and dispatch operations in line with cGMP and Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • The ability to use various manual handling equipment (forklift, pallet truck).
  • Suggest improvement initiatives to ensure that the inventory movement is performing as efficiently as possible, limiting delays in deliveries.
  • Comply with the Company's Health and Safety policies.
  • Working Environment Environment will require a significant amount of manual handing and physical movement of materials. This will require the use of manual handling equipment, being fast paced at times depending on business demand. This will include working in cold rooms going down to 20 C.

Essential:


  • Valid UK motorcar driving license, ideally with no more than 3 points
  • Experience of working in a warehouse, including manual handling and delivery driving.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • To be friendly and approachable
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business

Location:
Edgbaston, Birmingham

Hours: 40 hrs per week
