Description

My client was created in 1989, in accordance with the International Business Companies Ordinance of 1984, and registered in the British Virgin Islands and has been continuously growing.

My Client arranges the purchase and sale of Liquids and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products and chartering. These operations are carried out by My Client through its two branches based in Algiers and London.

My Client is the largest oil and gas company in Algeria and in Africa. The company operates in exploration, production, pipeline transportation, transformation and marketing of hydrocarbons and by-products.

My Client is also involved through various holdings, national and international partnerships in distribution and refining of those products.

Duties
Monthly bank reconciliations of each entities and journal entries

Process accounts payables and track records

Liaise with Operation and Treasury Departments, support the payment processing

Maintain and make necessary adjustments to various records and journals

Verify amounts and codes on various forms for accuracy

Capitalisation and depreciation of Assets in each entities

Stock measurement at year end of each entities

Prepayments and cost accruals

Assist annual budget process and cost analysis in each entities

Support towards year-end adjustments

Prepare and assist year-end audit and financial statements

Maintain Quarterly MTD Vat Return Invoice records

Maintain Petty cash journal entries and inventory counts

Ad hoc reports

Requirements:

Newly Qualified (ACCA or ACA or CIMA or CA or ICEAW)

Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP

Attention to details

Ability to working independently without supervision

Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees

Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines

Proficiency with Excel

French language would be an advantage
