Aramark UK is recruiting for an experienced, qualified and commercially astute Finance Manager to join the high performing team working for one of our key North West accounts.
As Finance Manager, you will take the lead for all finances on the contract and join the leadership and management teams to drive and improve holistic business performance in a growth oriented, service focused business environment.
The Finance Manager will work closely with the operational teams to ensure the financial close process and ultimately the management information created is both robust and used to support decision making to improve performance.

A day in the life of a
Finance Manager:
Reviewing key KPI's to help drive the contracts profitability for both Aramark and the client (including but not limited to ATV's, Penetration rates, room occupancy rates, gross profits, labour ratios)
Reviewing the pricing policy in all areas of the business to ensure inflation is recovered and key margins are maintained
Ensuring 100% compliance to the agreed supply chain to ensure maximum commercial benefit is delivered for both Aramark and client
Ensuring the daily/weekly/periodic accounting activities are complete in a timely and accurate manner
Producing the month end management accounts, ensuring all revenues and costs are captured and reported in the correct accounting period
Acting as the gate keeper to ensure that department heads are goods receipting deliveries within Aramark systems and ensuring any non-EDI invoices are processed and accounted for in correct accounting periods
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the contract balance sheet is a true and fair representation of its assets/liabilities
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience working in a commercial contract catering environment
Extensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
Able to engage with and guide colleagues from all levels and backgrounds on the financials
Ability to influence those around them to promote and improve performance
