- Post graduate Diploma in CBT and registration and accreditation with BABCP
- Post-Qualification training in a psychological theory/model that is applicable to the area of pain management
- Experience of psychological/psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, and primary care
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, with presenting problems that reflect a range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems

You will be registered with BABCPas a CBT Therapistand will have experience of working within a physicalhealth setting delivering individual and group interventions. You willpreferably have good knowledge of the current evidence base in relation topsychological approaches to pain management. We are particularly keen torecruit an enthusiastic and high calibre candidate with interest in Acceptanceand Commitment Therapy.

Connect Health are deliveringthe Flippin Pain public health campaign and were highly rated by the NHSChange Challenge panel for their ehealth pain innovations in response toCOVID-19.
Our service in Durham andDarlingtonis a community Persistent Pain service that provides a singlepoint of access for NHS patients enabling a seamless and efficient patientjourney. You will be part of a large, dynamic multidisciplinary team. Thecommunity service design allows clinicians to work together to deliver seamlessand evidence-based care for patients and enables inter-disciplinary learning.
The successful candidate willdeliver face to face individual assessments andtherapy sessions as well as group Pain Management Programme sessions alongsidecolleagues. Some clinical work will be done remotely through telephone andvideo consultations as well as via digital platforms.
