Impact Recycling :
We recycle all items of clean plastic, through our unique process.

Our Process entails using Telehandler and FLT to move around plastics, finished goods etc and to supply our process, where our operators monitor our machinery for Quality and Breakdowns etc and report back to the Team Leader and Supervisor etc

Job Description :
Operator / Industrial Cleaner

Reporting to - Production Supervisor.

Operation - Production Operations / Industrial Cleaning.

An excellent opportunity to join a growing operation.
The role is one which requires attention to detail, and excellent team work. The role is a pivotal position ensuring high levels of equipment cleaning, operation and reliability.

A self-starter who can work well under pressure, to deadlines, communicate and think on their feet, take the initiative and a flexible approach is required to go that extra mile in a dynamic environment.

Area of Responsibility - To carry out all aspects of Industrial Cleaning within the Production Area as directed by the Production Manager, you will also help in the production department as a whole.

Duties:

will include: ability to follow instructions, emptying bins using FLT, daily cleaning down of machinery, and Production Floor Areas under machinery.

Also running the Washline, as and when required. Must be able to use initiative to prioritise work and maintain quality levels and to communicate with your Supervisor/Manager. Leave a shift changeover log for following shift.

Safety

Ensure at all times you operate in a way which does not put at risk personnel or equipment on site.

Adhere to the appropriate Health and Safety rules associated with the shop floor and wear the appropriate supplied PPE.

Primary
Responsible for the Cleaning of the Washline Area, Boss Area and any area that is deemed necessary. Working to the guidance supplied by the Production Area, and the focus areas may be given at short notice.

High degree of experience in managing and executing industrial cleaning activities

Familiarity with working from heights using aerial platform, and ladders

Ability to work with assigned team, in collabarative and positive manner

ability to perform work in dirty and adverse work environment, efficiently

Secondary

Secondary activities will include.

Assist in other areas specified by the Production Manager

Essential Attributes

Flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
Team player.

Desirable Attributes

Driving Licence.
Fork lift licence.
Can work unsupervised and take the initiative.
Experience Machinery Cleaning within a factory environment.
Experience in machine cleaning operation and jet washing.

Job Details

Permanent 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm

Overtime Requirement

Salary - £12.13

Start date - a.s.a.p.
