record uk is the UK subsidiary of the Agta-Record Group who is among the world market leaders of automatic pedestrian door systems.

The group manufactures and distributes door systems to over 40 countries worldwide.

We design, manufacture, supply, install and service automated door systems and aluminium shop-fronts throughout the UK to a wide range of organisations and clients.

Due to continued growth and high demand for its services, the company is now seeking to recruit a fabricator to join the team in our expanding group based in Blantyre.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Assembly of above Products.
Inspect and control the quality of products ensure compliance to drawings and customer specification requirements.
Highlight issues in the quality and/or on-time fabrication of product to ensure problems are promptly resolved.
Ensure material issued to the Shopfloor is protected and used correctly.
Maintain a high standard of personal production performance, behaviour, absence, clocking in/out and timekeeping and comply with Company processes and procedures.
Comply with Company H&S processes, procedures and principles.
Excellent attention to detail
Ensure that your work area adheres to 5S principles to ensure that the area is clean, tidy, organised and controlled.
Reliable and hardworking 'can do' approach.
Ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being able to work as part of a team.

11. rOS (record Operating System) will be an important part of the role.

At the heart of this system is to improve performance, efficiency and quality using tools such as standard work, 5s and Kaizen.

12) You may be required to undertake tasks outside of those detailed above as directed by the Operations Director and/or Management team.

Desirable Criteria

Experience/Knowledge of the Aluminum door industry
Previous experience working as a fabricator within a fast-paced flow production environment.

Additional Information
Hours: 39 hours per week

(Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 15:00)

Holidays: 33 days
