Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading business institution as they look to grow their events team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an events, executive assistant or office manager background, with strong attention to detail and a creative eye, looking to move into events planning and coordination and keen to make their mark on events that are enjoyed by many across the East Midlands.

In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a fantastic starting salary of up to c£26,000 D.O.E., alongside excellent benefits including an 8% non-contributory pension scheme and significant opportunity for career progression.

Roles & Responsibilities

Make key contributions to the organisation and fulfilment of celebratory events across the East Midlands
Attend regular events with the wider team to celebrate achievements
Grow and develop relationships with current and potential suppliers to ensure events run smoothly
Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure their needs are met and the highest standards of service are offered

Skills & Experience

Confident selfstarter and ability to act on own initiative
Ability to demonstrate your creative flair
Ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of suppliers, customers and colleagues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A passion for delivering high quality service
Strong IT skills and competency with MS Office
