    Key Stage 4 Teacher Required in Bournemouth

    Position: Key Stage 4 Teacher

    Location: Bournemouth

    Salary: £40,000 - £46,515 (MPS/UPS)

    Start Date: September

    Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Our specialised SEN setting school in Bournemouth is seeking a qualified teacher to join our nurturing team in providing exceptional education to students in Key Stage 4.

Our experienced staff, tailored resources, and individualised support programs ensure that every student receives the personalised attention they need to succeed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN in Key Stage 4.
    • Provide individualised support and interventions to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
    • Collaborate closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
    • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
    • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and self-esteem.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
    • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in a secondary setting, is highly desirable.
    • Sound knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
    • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting the individual needs of students with SEN.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
