    Description
    The Role

    A fantastic opportunity for an experienced criminal paralegal to join our busy and successful practice.

    The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dedicated, take pride in their work and have the ability to conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner.

    Excellent communication and drafting skills and first-class client care are essential.


    This is a paralegal position with a potential to progress to qualification as a Solicitor in the future for the right candidate.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting fee earners in preparation of their cases
    • Legal Aid applications
    • Assisting with Lexcel compliance
    • Attending Court and conferences
    • Conduct legal research
    • Administrative duties
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Completion of the LPC is desirable; for those seeking SQE, experience in a criminal practice is essential
    • Knowledge of Lexcel compliance is desirable
    • Experience of Legal Aid applications
    • Excellent understanding of the criminal process from the police station to the Crown Court
