    Description
    Reporting to the Plant Manager at

    Snetterton Renewable Energy Plant, you will be responsible for the day to day administration of the site, accounting and general procurement of goods and services to facilitate the operation of the site.

    You will provide general administration support to the sites management team and for general meetings as required and c
    arry out other such responsibilities and duties commensurate with the position as required by the company.
    Core Responsibilities


    include:
    Procurement of goods and services, including items such as office supplies, fuel, welfare/PPE items, catering services, hotels and travel, laundry, mobile phone provision and general site requirements etc
    Responsible as a joint signatory to the main site account for overall P&L
    Responsible for entire sites accounting to ensure all expenditure and payments are recorded, managed, reconciled and submitted as the monthly accounts spreadsheet for month end submission to BWSC A/S
    Responsible for ensuring all monthly budgets are submitted to BWSC A/S project manager in line with the agreed general phasing arrangements and known expenditure to ensure prompt transfer of funds
    Responsible for the monthly payroll entries, including overtime(pending associated manager approval) and liaison with payroll/pension processing companies
    Responsible for the creation and opening of associated accounts with service/goods providers.
    Responsible for the sites training requirements, maintaining the training matrix and arranging coursers/refresher training as required
    Supporting goods in/out, invoices and spare parts management
    Calendar/diary arrangements for site management
    Responsible for the daily receipt and collection/delivery of all incoming and outgoing post for the site
    General administration services to include minute taking, printing, laminating and copying
    Responsible for the sites petty cash administration and management in line with good accounting practices
    Education


    requirements:
    Minimum of GCSE Math and English at Grade C or above educated with an AAT or equivalent recognized accountancy qualification(Qualifications below this may be acceptable if accompanied by suitable experience)
    A good understanding of HSE aspects - desirable to hold an IOSH (managing safely) qualification
    Skills & Experience


    requirements:
    Knowledge and experience of working within an office environment, completing general accountancy/book-keeping duties
    Experience of general procurement activities and payroll
    Understanding of financial terminology, payments, invoices and petty cash management
    Computer literate with Microsoft Office suite, Intra/Internet and accountancy software such as Sage or equivalent
    Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
    Full UK Driving Licence
