Development Chemist, Medical Devices, Scientific, Northamptonshire, Junior Formulation Chemist
This thriving organisation manufactures and supplies innovative hygiene products and infection prevention solutions for the healthcare industry. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Development Chemist to join their successful team in Northamptonshire.
As the Development Chemist you will be responsible for managing Research & Development projects from brief to scale up production and leading the formulation work.
Other duties within this varied role will include:
·Working within the R&D team, developing and implementing plans to ensure the successful launch of products.
·Ensuring products are developed to time and budget deadlines
·Managing new product developments, not limited to new formulation work, from brief through to commercialisation.
·Ensuring all project details are accurately documented and updated throughout.
·Working in collaboration with other departments such as marketing, regulatory and supply chain.
·Work closely with the Regulatory team ensuring project plans and formulation work have considered essential requirements that may be required to ensure the product is compliant.
·Being responsible for Technical Support
Skills & Experience Required:
The successful person will ideally have a Degree or equivalent within Chemistry, specifically within a formulation area. Previous experience of working as a Formulation Chemist within a Healthcare, Cosmetics or Biocides organisation is required. You will also need to have strong project management skill for this opportunity.
