Position:
Multi Trade Operative
Location: Mile End, London
Salary: £19-£20 per hour


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Payment Frequency:
Weekly (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive range of maintenance and repair services within social housing properties.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out various skilled trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting, and general maintenance.
  • Conducting repairs and refurbishments to a high standard, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Diagnosing faults, assessing repair needs, and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Liaising with tenants and providing excellent customer service, resolving any queries or concerns.
  • Completing necessary paperwork and ensuring accurate recordkeeping of work activities.
  • Utilizing companyprovided tools and equipment safely and responsibly.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative or similar role within the social housing sector.
  • Proficiency in multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customerfocused approach.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • The ability to adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
