    Overview

  • Support the CRM team and wider business through identifying, analysing and communicating customer data, including transactions, Google Analytics web browsing and CRM response data. Identify opportunities to optimise how we talk to customers through CRM – making our communications more relevant to customers across the groupCreate and automate regular reporting to enable data led measurement of activity and initiativesFeed insights, analysis and recommendations into planning discussions, regular reporting and post implementation reviewsA/B testing of campaign alternatives and significance testing of resultsForecasting future campaign performance based on historic selection volumes and response rates
  • You will:

  • Utilise the customer database to analyse customer behaviour and create actionable insights to feed into CRM reporting or one off projects
  • Analyse customer data , and measure strategic initiatives to provide understanding of performance versus targets and control cells.
  • Maintain a awareness of key metrics, how these are changing and which ones to prioritise for in depth analysis
  • Support the CRM team in understanding the Halfords customer base and campaign measurement. Proactively recommend analysis to improve performance.
  • Document and present analytics undertaken in a way which can be understood by those who are technical and non-technical. Make recommendations on campaign improvement.
  • Bring the customer to life through utilisation of a range of data sources
  • Your experience

  • Highly numeric: Mathematical or business oriented degree or equivalent qualification
  • High levels of competence with Excel, SQL and GA (ideally GA4)
  • Ability to manage multiple partners, prioritise workload and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Experience of campaign selection tools & Power BI (or equivalents) desirable but not essential
  • Your skills

  • Understanding of retail, cars and bikes
  • Excellent numeracy and statistical skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas into easily understood insights
  • Can-do attitude and the determination to achieve results
  • Analytical mindset but always mindful of the commercial applications of the data
