Our department is consisted by a quality team that is committed to enhancing the overall quality of Vestas Service at a functional level.

Responsibilities

As a quality specialist you will:

  • Evaluate the non-conformance data which will define Service improvements and will contribute to the Lessons Learned processes
  • Identify global nonconformances, facilitate data collection; correct case handling and you will report them to senior management
  • Coordinate root cause identification through an 8D process
  • You will facilitate pFMEA analysis on service of items, products, and internal processes
  • Create quality awareness and raising quality standards in the business Training of internal stakeholders in the use of quality tools
  • Oversee the developing and improving our internal processes and you will offer training to our internal stakeholders in the use of quality tools

Qualifications

We expect that you have:

  • A technical (mechanical or electrical) education
  • 5 years working experience in the field (experience from the wind industry would be an advantage)
  • Experience working with advanced quality techniques and a good understanding of ISO 900
  • Experience with auditing (ISO 9001 and potentially VDA)

Competencies

We expect that you:

  • Have good communication skills and can work in a multicultural environment where you will interact with people from all levels
  • Have a high level of quality awareness while being structured and wellcoordinated
  • Are a good teamoriented person
  • Have knowledge of root cause analysis and techniques together with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Have knowledge of 8D (including: 5 Why. Ishikawa Diagrams etc.)
  • Have knowledge of Pareto Charts and Scatter Diagrams
  • Have knowledge of problemsolving tools e.g., Shainin and Six sigma techniques

Additional information

We are a flexible company, but we see a benefit to be close to the business in one of our offices from Aarhus N, Denmark or Warrington, England.

For this position you can expect up to 30 days of travel per year.
