They are actively seeking a dedicated Full-Stack WordPress Developer to join their expanding team in Ware, Hertfordshire.This position offers a fantastic blend of collaborative office dynamics along with the flexibility of occasional remote work, ideal for a mid-to-senior level developer with at least three years of WordPress development experience.
In this role, you will be a key part of a small, close-knit group of 3-4 skilled developers.This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants their voice to be heard and to have significant input on projects.
You will work alongside talented in-house developers and designers, as well as a client-facing team that includes directors, project managers, and digital marketing professionals.

The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack WordPress Developer to help us continue delivering bespoke digital solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who excels in both frontend and backend web development and enjoys a collaborative, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom, scalable WordPress sites by collaborating closely with our in-house designers and developers.
Transform client requirements into functional, stylish websites that enhance user engagement and meet business goals.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
Essential Skills:
Frontend Development:
Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Tailwind CSS is crucial for implementing responsive and efficient designs.
Backend Development:
Strong experience in object-oriented PHP is essential. Proficiency in creating WordPress themes and plugins from scratch and a solid understanding of WordPress's hook system.
WordPress Specific Skills:
Deep knowledge of WordPress, including custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields, and customizing WooCommerce
Version Control:
Proficiency with Git for version control to manage and track code changes across multiple project stages
Desirable Skills:
Modern JavaScript Frameworks:
Familiarity with frameworks like React, , or AlpineJS is highly valued but not required
Templating Languages:
Experience with Twig or similar templating engines can be beneficial
PHP Frameworks:
Knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony enhances backend capabilities
APIs and Integration:
Ability to develop and integrate APIs and work with third-party services
Server and Deployment:
Skills in managing hosting environments and implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) are advantageous
Tools and Dependency Managers:
Experience with tools like Composer and NPM for managing dependencies
