Reporting to the UK Transport Coordinator and the UK Planning Manager, the UK planner works as part of a team to ensure production of the most efficient and cost effective collection plans and vehicle routes within the domestic service to the customers.

Examine the strategic plan & the volume on a daily & weekly basis for maximum efficiency. Maximise load fill and backload opportunities. Support Control Tower fleet utilization and 3PLs operational coordination to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings activities

  • Good degree of computer literacy, with Paragon, excel, access, word and PowerPoint experience Preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Technical aptitude in the use of a variety of supporting software tools
  • Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
  • Strong and effective organizational skills
  • Able to demonstrate previous examples of solution innovative
  • Extensive UK Post Codes knowledge
