    We are looking for a Head Housekeeper to manage our friendly housekeeping team at our beautiful nursing home in Alton, a busy market town in Hampshire, surrounded by stunning countryside and close to the town centre.

    It's a full-time contract hours per week, and working alternate weekends.
    You need to have experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside your home.

    In addition, you will need to demonstrate a flexible attitude to work, be reliable, have a caring disposition towards older people, and be able to make a difference in their day.

    Building those relationships is part of enabling them to live well and make the most of every day.

    Supervise all specialist or contract cleaners operating at the home, monitor supplier performance, products, services, and costs, and recommend efficiencies.

    Undertake ordering and maintain stock levels of cleaning chemicals, tools, machinery, and equipment, including periodically auditing the condition of all equipment in your department and organising repairs or requesting replacements as required.
