Senior Software Engineer, Trading systems – Up to £180,000 + annual bonus

We're excited to be partnered with a financial services firm in London who are on the hunt for 3x talented engineers to join the team

You will be working on-site with the world's most elite investment managers and hedge funds where you'll be rebuilding bespoke software solutions for their real-time global trading platforms, using the likes of C++ and Rust for their backend services.

This role offers continuous complex technical challenges, you will be working on mission-critical projects that are a key component to the company's success.

Techstack

Java, C++, Rust, event-driven architecture, TypeScript, UNIX/Windows, Jira, low latency/high-throughput systems

Ideal experience

• 4-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment within financial services (banking, trading, front office, etc.)
• Ability to write high-performant code in Java and C++, there is no expectation for you to be an expert in Rust as you'll learn this on the job
• Experience working directly with stakeholders (traders, quants, senior leadership)

Package / WFH policy

• Up to £180,000 + bonus
