Job Introduction:

Construction Coordinator (Mechanical) to work with the existing Construction teams providing supervision for construction, commissioning and operational tasks within our projects and frameworks on Sellafield Site.

Role Responsibility:

Accountable to the Atkins Construction Manager and reporting to the Project/Framework Construction Lead.
Understand their area of responsibilities on projects/frameworks
To ensure the relevant disciple resources are SQEP to perform the tasks and activities required during delivery of the project schedule.
To collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering team to assist and support installation design
Ensuring that installed systems are fit for purpose, integrated, optimised, and satisfies the specified functional requirements.
Ensuring that installed systems meet all specified project quality and assurance requirements.
Undertake any other duties required to ensure efficient delivery of the project.
Support the Quality team in reviewing quality plans and relevant quality documentation such as Inspection Check Lists and LTR compilation.
Supervise subcontractors and coordinate works.

_ Essential Skills/Qualifications:
_

Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery, supervision and coordination of Mechanical works.
IOSH Managing Safely / SMSTS.
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Discipline (or equivalent).
CSCS Accredited Card Holder.
SC Clearance.
P4 Pass holder.
Minimum of 5 years' experience of installation of Mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of Sellafield site procedures.
Ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
Conversant with the IT Microsoft office work packages.
Drive and energy with a strong aptitude for problem solving.
Knowledge of Quality Plans, Inspection Checklists, Lifetime Record compilation.

_ Desirable:
_

HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
CSCS Accredited Card Holder
Gold Supervisor (Level 3/4).
Human Performance Training and Relevant Sellafield Courses.
