Job Introduction:


Construction Coordinator (Mechanical) to work with the existing Construction teams providing supervision for construction, commissioning and operational tasks within our projects and frameworks on Sellafield Site.


Role Responsibility:


  • Accountable to the Atkins Construction Manager and reporting to the Project/Framework Construction Lead.
  • Understand their area of responsibilities on projects/frameworks
  • To ensure the relevant disciple resources are SQEP to perform the tasks and activities required during delivery of the project schedule.
  • To collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering team to assist and support installation design
  • Ensuring that installed systems are fit for purpose, integrated, optimised, and satisfies the specified functional requirements.
  • Ensuring that installed systems meet all specified project quality and assurance requirements.
  • Undertake any other duties required to ensure efficient delivery of the project.
  • Support the Quality team in reviewing quality plans and relevant quality documentation such as Inspection Check Lists and LTR compilation.
  • Supervise subcontractors and coordinate works.

_ Essential Skills/Qualifications:
_


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery, supervision and coordination of Mechanical works.
  • IOSH Managing Safely / SMSTS.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Discipline (or equivalent).
  • CSCS Accredited Card Holder.
  • SC Clearance.
  • P4 Pass holder.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of installation of Mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Sellafield site procedures.
  • Ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
  • Conversant with the IT Microsoft office work packages.
  • Drive and energy with a strong aptitude for problem solving.
  • Knowledge of Quality Plans, Inspection Checklists, Lifetime Record compilation.

  • HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • CSCS Accredited Card Holder
  • Gold Supervisor (Level 3/4).
  • Human Performance Training and Relevant Sellafield Courses.
