You'll be expected to deliver presentations across a combination of local and regional events as well as virtual and online meetings.
You will be responsible for delivering the Guardian brand and values in the best light, acting as a mentor and coach to the Business Development Consultants.
Business development and Commercial:
Deliver a combination of high-volume outbound calls and face to face business development activity as required by your panel of assigned accounts
Generate new business to meet agreed sales targets from your assigned accounts
Work with underwriting, servicing, and claims teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Work with the Distribution & Marketing Management Team to ensure the Guardian proposition is approved to do business with Advisers
Ensure that all compliance and KPI requirements are met
Distribution Risk:
Work with the Sales management team and the Risk and Compliance Team to ensure that any risks associated with the distribution process and identified and documented
Ensure that any risks are managed in line with agreed procedures
Planning:
Ability to analyse and use MI to adopt a planned and prioritised approach to all Guardian business development activity
Ability to prioritise workflow to achieve a high volume of outbound calls and business development activity
Ensure all business objectives and sales targets are achieved building excellent.
Use your knowledge of the protection market and our key competitor's proposition to differentiate and best position the Guardian brand
Maintain a good understanding of the way technology is used within the current protection market to support proposition development
Act as mentor and coach to Business Development Consultants
To be an effective role model within the team, living and promoting the Guardian vision and values to ensure the team are brand ambassadors, in accordance with the beliefs of the business
Working within the UK Intermediary market in a telephone or field-based role
Developing a panel of accounts to increase market share
To support this experience, you'll have special skills or qualities such as;
Proven track record in seeking out, developing, and implementing new business opportunities in the intermediary market
Strong financial services background
