Enterprise Business Development Manager (Managed Services)

Up to £75k base plus double OTE commission and benefits

About the role


Our client is an information and communications technology company providing end-to-end ICT solutions including data center services, cloud & managed services, and professional services to clients in the UK, Europe, APAC and North America.


This is a new role for a highly motivated and seasoned New Business Development Manager who will be prepared to start with clean sheet to develop and grow a pipeline from scratch.

You will be focused on Managed IT services with particular attention to ProfessionalServices, Private/Public Cloud, and Cloud Optimisation.


What you will do:


You will work collaboratively with the Sales Marketing Manager to create successful outreach and account-based marketing campaigns to identify, build, and develop a consistent pipeline of new opportunities for our client.


  • Build a new business IT Managed Service prospect pipeline from scratch
  • Generate and close new logo sales opportunities through effective sales planning and campaigns.
  • Pitch and present enterprise solution and managed service value proposition.
  • Structure professional, compelling proposals, and responses to enquiries
  • Develop and manage a sustainable sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Forecast and report sales opportunities accurately using company CRM platforms.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators and key result areas, sales targets.

Your experience will include:


  • 5+ years of experience in sales of complex managed IT service solutions, ideally in Hybrid Cloud Sales and Optimisation space highly desired. (Some sales and technical knowledge around Azure and AWS would be an advantage.)
  • Creating and successfully delivering new business sales campaigns
  • Selfsufficient and able to operate within a small and nimble team.
  • Ideally degree educated
