    Description

    This is an exciting opportunity for a new qualified accountant from an audit background to join one of our best clients. This role is spit between management accounting and group reporting.

    Client Details

    My client is global conglomerate and household name. The successful candidate will be working within one of the most exciting divisions of the group which specialises in the manufacture of chemicals and composites. This role is office based in Central London, five days per week.

    Description

    As the Group Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead group reporting across all entities, providing expertise in addressing issues / resolving imbalances
    • Lead the Statutory Account Reporting process, and associated corporation tax calculations & tax returns across all UK businesses
    • Lead the Quarterly Financial Reporting process across the group
    • Lead drafting of consolidated financial quarterly statements for the group
    • Support the Group reporting team on technical accounting issues
    • Support the delivery of the global audit
    • Support Finance Manager in preparation of accurate financial results and analysis on a monthly basis
    • Lead in SAP reporting for month end processes
    • Assist with the explanation of financial results and variances to previous performance/plans/budgets, and to monitor and control cash/project costs
    • Assist the Finance Manager in business partnering and accurate monthly performance reports for fixed costs by budget holder
    • Support the Centre Finance Manager with the annual budgeting process
    • Draft preparation of annual statutory financial statements and tax returns

    Profile

    To be considered for this Group Reporting Accountant role you must have the following:

    • ACA fully qualified
    • Experience working on large engagement within audit
    • In depth knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting / GAAP
    • Experience with SAP and/or HFM beneficial

    Job Offer

    • £60-65,000
