Human Resources Supervisor - Leeds, United Kingdom - Journey Further Ltd.
Description
Develop, implement and keep up to date all Journey Further policies to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and cultureCreate programmes to educate managers and leaders on application of policy and HR best practice to ensure effective implementation in practice
Create and embed a full employee onboarding and management process for the UK and US, utilising HiBob, to ensure new employees become as effective as possible as quickly as possible
Develop and apply policies to improve employee experience and employer brand whilst mitigating risk
Ensure legal compliance and adherence to best practice while implementing workforce-related initiatives to mitigate risk
Provide people policy and HR guidance to all employees, managers and leaders, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of practice
Act as a trusted partner, working closely with managers to develop workforce strategies, improve work relations, engagement and productivity, to provide constructive solutions to complex HR challenges
Support the successful resolution of all employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinaries, appeals, performance management, and capability issues to ensure effective resolution
Analyse people trends and metrics by monitoring and reporting on workforce data and succession planning to drive appropriate actions as a result
Fully utilise and embed HiBob (and other tech) across the business to improve HR process, employee experience and business efficiencies
Work with the People Director to drive key strategic initiatives across a range of areas including DEI and ESG/CSR to ensure successful implementation
The ability to apply and interpret employment law in a range of situations and mitigate risk to the business
