    Established firm in the Construction sector require an experienced Health and Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager in Staffordshire.

    Established firm in the Construction, Interior Fit Out, Shopfitting sector require an experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Manager / SHE Manager - Construction to join the team in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

    Your primary responsibility in this senior role is to ensure the company is equipped for and can meet its legal responsibilities with regards to Health, Safety and the Environment.

    An accomplished Health and Safety Manager with a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in similar roles as senior safety lead, multi-site safety lead, trainer, strategy developer and team coach.

    Possess an excellent Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality management background within the; Possess an excellent knowledge of construction operations, materials, and full project methodology life cycle experience including pre-development, project delivery, and maintenance.

    Experience of working with senior managers.
    Knowledge of CDM, fire and asbestos regulations.
    Experience with CITB, CSCS, Considerate Constructor, SSIP schemes
    Experience of writing, reviewing and implementing on site procedures.
    Experience of communicating effectively verbally and in writing to senior managers and writing reports.
    Evidence of continued professional and personal development
    A chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH).
    Extensive knowledge of effective health and safety management strategies and best practice.
    Detailed knowledge of current health and safety legislation and its application in a construction environment.
    Fully conversant with UK construction health, safety and environmental standards, ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO 45001
    Comfortable dealing with clients, architects and sub-contractors

    The role will suit individuals currently working as SHE Manager - Construction, Health and Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Lichfield, Burton Upon Trent, Rugeley, Cannock, Walsall, Birmingham or be willing to relocate.
