To be considered for this role CassonX are looking to identify someone with proven experience of working within a Cash Forecasting/Funding role, where they are monitoring multiple Nostro and deposit accounts, with cash movements often in the $Billion range.

Your experience will ideally be gained in a Tier 1 or capital markets bank / trading business, where preference will be given to those continuously look for ways to improve the process and challenge the status quo, and understand how the settlements processworks in equity and fixed income markets.

Working a part of a small team, some responsibilities include:

Performing control checks throughout the day of cash balances across Nostro and Cash Settlement Accounts
Providing timely funding forecasts to trading desks, ensuring all information is checked and validated.
Representing Cash Funding team in Governance meetings
Ensuring daily controls checks are undertaken and checking all depository accounts are appropriately funded
Assessing Operational processes and identifying ways to improve efficiency
Implementing appropriate controls to mitigate Operational Risk
Reconciliation of cash positions and reporting to Senior management
Cash Settlements
