Cambridge with hybrid working

Package:
£43,742- £50,056 plus significant public sector pension scheme.

Our client, the UK's most valued health-care service provider, is looking for an experienced IT Systems Project Manager to join their 10-strong Estates Business Services team in Cambridge.

The EBS team provide a centralised IT project management service for Capital, Estates and Facilities Management teams (CEFM) across our clients' portfolio and are the professional and friendly port of call for all IT support.

The role will be based in Cambridge, 5 days a week for perhaps the first 3 months, and then more flexible working will kick in to break up the week, so you'll likely WFH 2 days.

Day to day, this opportunity will predominately be project management focussed, mostly surrounding IT systems and applications.

To give you an idea, this can include implementing new systems, upgrading existing applications, carrying out various training and providing guidance and support.

As well as daily project management, you will successfully identify business needs, improve efficiency and be able to contribute towards solving user problems.

There will be room to jump in and help with some 3rd line support on occasion, so if you like to get some 'hands on' as well as project manage, even better
The technology stack is quite broad, but Microsoft bias.

We are thinking you probably have been hands on within a Microsoft SQL, Windows Server environment and then high level, being able to hold a civilised conversation as to the merits of on prem, against cloud so you can converse with 3rd party support partners.

Project management methodology leans towards Prince 2, with some tweaks so fairly standard and we are open minded about this, so long as formal PM delivery experience is there.
