    The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Engineer

    Typically, this individual will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our expanding fleet of CTVs (Crew Transfer Vessels) across the UK and Europe.

    Tasks will vary from minor equipment replacements to the removal and installation of engines.

    Collaboration with crew members and colleagues at various sites is essential to ensure the continuous availability of the CTV fleet.

    Duties and responsibilities of the

    Marine Engineer:

    • Perform general vessel maintenance, inspection, and repairs with expertise in engine types including MTU, MAN, and Volvo Penta, as well as gearboxes such as Twindisc and Servogear.
    • Conduct fault finding and repairs on vessel electrical, hydraulic, and heating systems.
    • Collaborate closely with the crews to understand their concerns and provide training on vessel servicing and checks.
    • Travel and work away from home, undertaking assignments at multiple sites across the UK and Europe.
    • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, aligning with operational needs, including addressing breakdowns and emergency repairs promptly.
    • Adhere to and uphold expected Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) standards while working on any vessels or sites, actively promoting a positive safety culture.
    • Work a 2 week on 1 week off rota.
    Qualifications and requirement for the

    Marine Engineer:

    • Experience in Engineering roles.
    • Full Valid UK Driving License.
    • Desirable - Level 3 Diploma/NVQ Engineering or equivalent.
    • Desirable - Previous experience in a Marine related role.
