What's the role?


As the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Administrator, you will report to the SHEQ Systems Manager and work as a key member of the SHEQ team.

The post holder will provide an excellent standard of administrative support to the SHEQ team and will help to maintain the SHEQ Management Systems.


The SHEQ Administrator role is critical to the overall success of the SHEQ team and of the wider business ensuring that systems, performance information and support is accurate and available, and contributing to the ambition of "Zero Harm and Excellence" across the organisation.

This position will involve coordination and engagement with the full range of functions across the business, and with clients, contractors, accreditation auditors and regulators where required.

The role will require travel across the UK to meet business needs as necessary.

The position provides an opportunity for the post holder to support, implement and improve a wide range of SHEQ Management Systems across the business and gain experience of wider SHEQ related activities.


Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday. 8am - 15:45pm. Hybrid Working.


Key responsibilities:


  • Organising, facilitating, and minuting meetings, forums, events and training.
  • Maintain clear reporting lines to the SHEQ Systems Manager
  • Supporting, maintaining, and promoting the SHEQ Management Systems including SHEQ IT systems and processes.
  • Administration of SHEQ communications and monitoring plans.
  • Assisting in the updating of documentation and reports.
  • Assisting in the analysis of data to identify opportunities for improvement.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Desirable
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent or working towards this qualification.

  • Desirable
- IOSH Membership.

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English).
