Our client is looking for a Junior Pastry Sous Chef to join a very successful brigade of 4 pastry chefs and become part of the family whilst working within this very prestigious historical society in the heart of London.
Your position as the Junior Pastry Sous Chef will be to cater for a busy banqueting kitchen that provides traditional British cuisine to a Michelin Star standard, you will be working within the traditional restaurant that has recently gone through major investment in a amazing modern brand new kitchen that has recently opened.
As the Junior Pastry Sous Chef you will be catering for events on a day to day basis which could range from canapes to sit down dinners.
As the Junior Pastry Sous Chef your general working hours are predominantly mon-fri 8am-4pm,but are required to work the very rare odd Saturday.
On average one or two evenings a week is paid overtime. closed 2 weeks at xmas and 4 weeks holiday in August .
