About this job role


This technical delivery role will be crucial in accelerating our ability to deliver new products to our mobile customers quicker and more efficiently, and helping drive BT's strategic growth.

The role holder will be accountable for all deliveries within the Online Charging (OCS) platform which in itself is a crucial platform within BT's strategic architecture.


The role holder will manage and coordinate the delivery of technical solutions on behalf of our customers, and manage the relationships between our key business stakeholders and our delivery partners.

The role holder will work closely with project managers, designers and delivery partners to ensure all solutions are built on-time and to a high quality.


The OCS platform is a strategic platform within BT and supports all BT / EE customers using the mobile network.


Main responsibilties

  • You will be accountable for delivering quality solutions that are robust, meet the customers' needs and delivered on budget and on time
  • Accountable for the day to day relationship of our key delivery partners and suppliers
  • You will support the technical roadmap within your domain and produce and manage the associated delivery roadmap
  • Provide technical and delivery leadership within your own domain by supporting suppliers, customers and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partner and vendor management teams on reviewing partner performance, contract changes, including holding regular reviews, managing and supporting performance KPI, benchmarking technical capabilities and driving continuous improvements

Main experiences/skills required

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to ensure delivery to cost, quality and time.
  • Interprets customer and business needs, assessing the full requirements, identifying solutions to standard and nonstandard tasks/ queries and offering assistance even when not asked.
  • Develops plans for projects in own area over the medium/ long term, including forecasting/ organising all resource requirements and finance.
  • Technology Experience: Technical expertise in developing and managing technical products and platforms inlife
  • Delivery Experience: Proven experience of delivering complex technical solutions in a diverse environment, including with teams onshore, offshore and from partner organisations

Risk Awareness:
Experience in evaluation of the obvious and subtle commercial risks/issues/challenges especially in relation to a programme/project. Experience in determining the appropriate commercial solutions
