We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Coordinator to join our Service Department.

The role will see the post holder based out of our Sittingbourne HQ with potential to work from home 2 days a week.


Job Purpose


You will be expected to provide outstanding service to customers in all areas of your role as Customer Service Coordinator.

You will be the pivotal point of communication between the Customer and Knauf to ensure all Customer requirements are satisfied.

You will be required to work closely within the team and with our customers to show all the elements of the Knauf values in every aspect of what you do on the team using your strong working knowledge of the company and the processes and procedure in place within the CSD.


Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others

  • To be the pivotal point of communication between the Customer and Knauf to ensure that all Customer requirements are satisfied.
  • Achievement of individual and department performance standards
  • To maintain high levels of service delivery by processing Customer Orders accurately to ensure goods are provided as required.
  • Maintain high levels of communication with other company departments and hauliers
  • Meet call handling standards as set by the company
  • Professional interactions with Customers
  • Accurate and timely processing of orders
  • Take ownership and resolve Customer issues within set parameters
  • Development of personable and professional relationships with all internal and external Customers and support functions
  • Any other duties as requested by the Customer Service Manager or Head Of Service
  • Contribute to Knauf's sustainability strategy of People, Planet, Prosperity.
  • Anything else commensurate to complete your role

Requirements:


  • Educated to GSCE/NVQ or ICS standard or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with SAP is desirable
    _but not essential_.
  • IT literate.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working within a Customer Service focused role is essential.
  • Ability and desire to deliver exceptional levels of service.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Actively promoting suggestions for improvement.
  • Intolerance of complacency
  • Honours commitment to team members
