    I'm currently assisting a well-known AJ100 practice in their search for an Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technologist based in their London office. This is a permanent position with salary dependant on experience, but generally ranging from £40-50,000.

    This is fantastic opportunity to embed yourself into an established yet growing practice. It's a Revit based position but also an opportunity to assist on the BIM side of things. As a result you'll need to be fluent with Revit and have a good understanding of BIM standards in the UK. Alongside your typical technical responsibilities will be a requirement to assist the BIM team in ensuring that BIM level 2 standards are met, BIM models are being managed correctly and occasionally training staff where needed. As a result you'll need to be very comfortable with BIM 360 as well as Navisworks.

    Outside of the BIM side you'll be working on a number of projects in the office between RIBA stages 3-5. Yes this is a technical position but you may be required to assist with the occasional planning application. A solid technical background is a must and it would be beneficial to be CIAT registered although this is not a pre-requisite.

    The work is nice and varied- you'll have the opportunity to work on public buildings, high-end residential (developments and one-off properties), education, hospitality and conservation/listed buildings. It is not imperative that you are fluent with all of the above however you will need provide a track record of at least 2 of the sectors they are currently working in to be considered.
