Are you an aspiring, enthusiastic Teacher who has a passion for the English curriculum and developing colleagues' practice?

We are looking for a Head of English here at Brunts Academy

The Role:

In this role you will be taking on the responsibility of Head of English within our academy.

You will support the development of outstanding teaching and learning within the English curriculum; sharing outstanding classroom practice with colleagues through the development and delivery of high quality CPD.

Furthermore, you will lead, develop and implement effective teaching strategies yourself to ensure our pupils achieve the best of their ability, despite their background.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic with a passion for English
  • Can be innovative in their techniques to improve outcomes through the faculty
  • Can positively influence teaching and learning across the Academy
  • Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for all learners
