Location:Leeds Office (agile working available)**
Salary: £23,488.92 per annum

Interview Date:28th April potentially**Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Governance Assistant to join our Compliance & Governance Team within the Finance Directorate.


Reporting to the Executive Assistant and Governance Manager, you will provide administrative support to the Governance and Executive Support functions, as well as administrative support to the wider Compliance Team.


You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills to provide support by scheduling internal and external meetings, ensuring attendees are fully briefed, and supporting these meetings by distributing agendas, requesting and formatting reports, taking notes/minutes, and following up actions.


Working closely with the CEO and Leadership Team, as well as our Board, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work flexibly and respond to changing tasks and priorities from senior colleagues to a high degree of accuracy.

You will be creative in using your initiative to solve problems.


You will be proactive in supporting objectives of the Compliance & Governance Team which works to ensure the statutory obligations of the organisation are met.
