Description
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Construction Category Manager to join a Manchester based Public Sector organisation on a 6-month interim contract.
The Role:
- Managing end to end procurement projects
- Identify quick wins and value adding opportunities
- Liaise with key stakeholders
- Identify compliant routes to market that are cost effective for the organisation
- Analyse complex information and present findings
- Supplier relationship management and contract management
- Deliver procurement category strategies within construction
The Person:
- Previous experience within the Public Sector
- MCIPS qualified or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the construction category
- NEC/JCT contract knowledge
