Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with specialized experience in Migration Data Mapping, preferably with expertise in UDMH.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of data migration processes for our upcoming project based in Leeds, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate data mapping processes.
Conduct data profiling and analysis.
Utilize strong SQL skills to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations.
Execute technical tests to verify the reliability of migration tools and processes.
Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies, errors, and failures, providing timely resolution and mitigation strategies.
Document test results, findings, and recommendations for process improvements.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in Migration Data Mapping, ideally with exposure to UDMH.Demonstrable expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and manipulation.
Prior experience in data migration projects or similar initiatives is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.
