    We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Developer to join our Off Trade team. Your primary objective will be to expand the distribution and visibility of the company's brand portfolio within our existing account base, while also identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. This role involves extensive travel, primarily focusing on the Down and Armagh regions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the Off-Premise environment, demonstrate exceptional customer focus, excel in building relationships with key decision-makers, and exhibit a proactive 'can-do' attitude. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment is crucial. Candidates must have a full clean driver's license and be willing to travel extensively throughout Northern Ireland.

    HOURS OF WORK

    Working hours may vary depending on customer demands. This is a full-time role with an estimated commitment of 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day excluding lunch breaks (Monday-Friday). However, the nature of our business may require flexibility, with occasional evening and weekend work, especially during promotions and events.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Execute scheduled account visits according to the daily Journey Plan.
    • Maintain high levels of call compliance across the account base.
    • Ensure optimal product placement, pricing, and availability of key brands in your region.
    • Cultivate strong trading relationships with all accounts.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the territory.
    • Drive distribution of company's brands within all accounts.
    • Expand and manage the customer call file across the region.
    • Achieve predetermined quarterly objectives.
    • Introduce new products to accounts.
    • Maximize product facings in-store, including placement and management of coolers and stands.
    • Construct displays for all brands during peak trading periods.
    • Install Point of Sale material in relevant accounts.
    • Conduct DRIVE and brand audits in 100% of calls.
    • Report any pertinent competitor activity.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    • Uphold high standards of appearance, behavior, and discipline.
    • Participate in performance appraisal procedures.
    • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities deemed appropriate by management.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

    • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Dedication to customer satisfaction and teamwork.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
    • Ability to establish and nurture relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • Experience in FMCG environments and field sales is advantageous.
    • Possession of a full, clean driving license and eligibility to drive in the Island of Ireland is essential.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
