- 1-2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (listed below)
- An ability to demonstrate a broad clinical knowledge.
- Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office
- Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
- Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
- Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
- Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) or College of OT's (COT)
- BSc or Qualified Paramedic
- Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Starting salary £39, £46,000.00 per annum based on location
As a Functional Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Our roles offer you the chance for a change of direction from the standard healthcare professional role, whilst providing you the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills, and knowledge.
As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face.
By completing thorough assessments via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means you will assess how our claimant's disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.
