    We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and technically capable individual to join the 2nd line Team within IT Services as IT Senior Support Technician.

    Experience in IT Technical roles required (hardware or server, network support)

    Provide practical advice and support to users of IT systems.
    Installation of Hardware, Telephony, Infrastructure and Software.
    Repairs and maintenance of end user IT equipment.
    IT Project Management support.
    Administrate clinical and non-clinical applications and clinical network integrated devices.
    Provide specialist IT Relationship management with departments and wards.

    Take the lead on specific project tasks under the management of Senior Support Specialists and other senior Digital Healthcare personal such as project managers or senior team.

    Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
    Must have relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in an technical support role

    Microsoft Certified Professional - Associate in Desktop or Infrastructure
    Advanced European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or MOS equivalent
    Prince 2 or ITIL Foundation Qualification

    Flexible approach to working various shift patterns and expectation to work across multiple sites and travel where appropriate to represent the organisation

    Diagnosing faulty equipment, PC's and peripherals and be able to use specialised diagnostic software together with the ability to problem solve/repair
    Experience of connecting PC's and peripherals to networks
    Experience of using Microsoft Windows and Office products to able to fully support end users
    Must have sufficient expertise to be able to provide advice to staff on the purchase of suitable hardware and software for PC / networked systems as per organisational specifications
    Experience of installing, configuring, and maintaining software
    Excellent planning and organisational skills
    Training of end users both technical and non- technical informatics solutions
    Experience of maintaining appropriate ITSM software
