    JOB DESCRIPTION

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join our team in Coalville on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in Vehicle Solutions, part of our organisation, the UK's largest vehicle leasing company, reporting into the Senior Workshop Controller, the principle objective of this role is to ensure that the Workshop is loaded with the right mix of vehicles taking into consideration age, sales channel and job tasks.

    • Loading the workshop taking into consideration the available resource in the workshop, sales channel, age of vehicles and tasks on jobs.
    • Co Ordinate Subcontract repairs in a timely manner.
    • Co Ordinate any vehicles requiring an offsite repair with the provider and following up for regular updates to ensure it is returned asap
    • Monitor the valet bay and cars completed by refurb to ensure flow is constant, raising any issues to the Senior Workshop Controller.
    • To maintain good communication with Supervisors, ensuring they understand priorities and monitor.
    • Monitor KPI's for all Sales Channels and adjust as needed to ensure we are within limits
    • Liaise with key room and logistics to ensure car movement is being actioned in a timely manner and raise any issues to the Senior Workshop Controller as and when they arise.
    • Find solutions and identify issues before they become a problem.
    • Working alongside other onsite teams, collaborating to achieve overall objectives in respect of all key performance metrics
    • Supporting wider organisation initiatives and processes that help meet Scheme Customer needs and deliver an outstanding customer experience

    Whilst our Coalville site is undergoing refurbishment, your role will be based at Wymeswold Airfield, Prestwold Lane LE12 5SH.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Excellent IT Skills
    • Motivated by targets and look to exceed them.
    • Understand KPI's and worked with a Vehicle Refurbishment environment.
    • Ability to demonstrate effective time management.
    • You are self-organised, structured, and methodical in your approach.
    • You are an effective communicator, as this role requires a high amount of contact with many departments.
    • Willingness to Learn and Develop.
    • Able to work under pressure.

    Minimum criteria:

    • Previous experience of working in a Vehicle Refurbishment environment.
    • Previous experience of delivering results in a pressurised environment.
    • A flexible approach to working hours.
    • Full Driving Licence essential as this role does involve moving vehicles.
