    Job SummaryWe are recruiting for Teachers, Senior Teachers and Centre Managers to work over the summer in one of our centres in Oxford or in Wycliffe:

    • Oxford International Centre years)
    • Summer Fields School, Oxford (812 years)
    • Brasenose College, Oxford (Special EAP course from 1125 August)
    • Wycliffe College, Gloucestershire (817 years)

    Main Roles:

    Teachers:

    • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, communicative, and appropriate English lessons
    • Communicate regularly and effectively with fellow teaching staff and Senior Management
    • Complete training, admin and attend meetings as required
    • Support with activities and excursions when required.

    Senior Teachers:

    • Place students into correct classes based on online placement test results
    • Support teachers plan and structure lessons according to the syllabus
    • Assist with student supervision during breaks and lunch times
    • Ensure students are safe and supervised at all times
    • Liaise where required with group leaders on academic issues
    • Arrange certificates and end of week academic requirements.
    Centre Manager

    • Manage an overall smooth running of their centre
    • Liaise daily with group leaders and agents to deal with an issues
    • Ensure accommodation is prepared for each new intake
    • Communicate regularly with staff and senior management
    • Take responsibility for overall student safety and wellbeing both at the centre and outside during activities.
    Activity Leaders and Senior Activity Leaders

    • Arrange and lead on activities and excursions for students.

    Essential requirements and conditions:

    • Applicants Must have the right to live and work in the UK
    • Teachers should have a Degree, plus CELTA, CertTESOL or equivalent qualification for Teachers / DELTA, DipTesol for Senior Teachers
    • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team, and also to use own initiative
    • All staff will be subject to safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure
    • Staff have at least one day off per week
    • Working hours may be unsociable, including teaching on Saturdays and Sundays (Excursion days are on Tues/Wed)

      QualificationsEducated to Degree level and a minimum of CELTA/CertTESOL or equivalent.

    Salary and BenefitsResidential (includes full-board, accommodation and Oxford bus pass):

    Teachers up to £599.10 per week
    Senior Teachers up to £667.85 per week
    Centre Managers up to £819.10 per week
    Activity Leaders up to £568.30 per week (Senior Activity Leader up to £654.10 per week)


    Non-residential:
    Teachers £16-18 per hour
    Activity Leaders £11-13 per hour

    Amounts are inclusive of holiday entitlement.
