- Ensure works are being planned and carried out in a safe manner.
- Participate in the preparation of RAMS with the Site Manager
- Ensure that all employees are inducted, made aware of the site rules and signed on to all relevant documentation, e.g. Inductions, RAMS, SPA's, Permits etc.
- Management and control of health and safety issues on site (including sub-contractors).
- Understand the projects requirements with regards to specifications, drawings etc. and ensure compliance on site.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, identify and rectify any defects in a timely manner and produce 'Client Sign-off' once works are satisfactorily completed.
- Manage and control plant and equipment on site.
