The Role

  • Investigating, collating and analysing data to prepare tender submissions
  • Tendering for pricing for utility contracts for each client to ensure the best value offering
  • Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best rates for each contract based on client data
  • Providing accurate and timely information to the account management team to enable them to present offerings to clients
  • Ensuring that all contract information is correct and communicated to the relevant supplier
  • Answering Client queries and resolving issues linked to supply contracts
  • Update the industry specific CRM and other company documentation
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with Clients to ensure their needs are understood
  • Meet and exceed expected broking targets as communicated periodically
  • Matrix pricing to be provided to the Client/Account Manager within 24 hours
  • Bespoke pricing to be provided to the Client/Account Manager within 7 days

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience of the business utility sector an advantage but not essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in negotiation and relationship building
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and organise your own workload
  • Can do attitude
  • IT literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Can work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve a shared goal
  • Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent written English and a sound command of the English language
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Working Pattern
Monday to Friday based at our St Albans Head Office.

We believe the best way to serve our clients is by working in the office therefore this is an office-based role.

£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
