The Role:

  • An opportunity has arisen within Children's Services as an administrative assistant, to provide business administration support to the Care Leavers Team.
  • The role requires someone who is confident, proactive, highly organised, and proficient. In addition, the role also requires good analytical and strong multitasking skills.
  • You will provide fundamental administrative support behind the scenes to assist frontline teams in safeguarding young people, promoting their welfare and maximising their life chances. As part of your role, you will assist the Personal Advisors within the Care Leavers Team to undertake organising meetings as required; proactively front loading of provisions dealing with payments; recording information on client records; coordinating new starters; using spreadsheets to track and monitor caseload information; and extracting information from various sources.
