Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large Public Sector Organisation in the the East Midlands who are looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant on a initial 9-12 month interim contract.

The role offers hybrid working with a lot offlexibility and is paying between £180-£230 per day.

Duties will include;

  • Produce the monthly Statement of Financial Position and forecast to be included in the monthly board report
  • Lead on the Agreement of Balance exercise which is submitted throughout the year
  • Develop cash flow reporting and variance analysis, coordinating information from Financial Management, Income and Capital Finance Teams to inform the cash flow forecast
  • Regularly meeting with stakeholders and suppliers to improve contract performance
  • Providing strategic direction on major projects and support senior management

The successful Financial Accountant:

  • Extensive experience of Financial Accounting in a large organisation
  • Staff management experience
