Are you a Mechanical Engineer from a manufacturing background or similar looking to step into a days based maintenance and service role, working 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday as the Mechanical Engineer you will facilitate the manufacture of quality products.

This company manufacture a variety of products for the construction sector.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a manufacturing background or similar looking for the next step in their career, within a growing manufacturer offering the training to progress their skill set.

Plan and organise external maintenance of equipment.
Carry out internal maintenance.
Identify faults, investigate production problems and repair equipment quickly and efficiently.
Supervise junior engineers and sub-contractors and ensure effective communication in order to avoid errors.
Planning and managing Engineering purchases through the ERP system.

As this is a mechanical engineering position, the candidate will ideally have 80% mechanical experience and 20% electrical experience.

If you don't have any electrical experience, you will need to be willing to learn.
Manufacturing / Factory / Plant / Industrial background or similar
Mechanical grounding Ability to work well under pressure.
Flexible.
Experience in CNC machine programming and setting.
Exceptional time management, planning and organisational skills.
