Are you looking to take on additional responsibility? Have the experience and confidence to work as a stand alone Finance person? Keen to understand all areas of a successful retail business?

Our client is a successful independent retail business with a proud history of over 50 years.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a confident Accountant (part qualified or qualified by experience) that will be responsible for the day to day financial operationsof the business, whilst reporting up to Director level.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
General Bookkeeping
Month end preparation
Accruals / Prepayments
Cashflow / Budgets
VAT Returns
Oversee AR & AP functions
Bank Recs
Balance Sheet Recs

This will suit an Accountant with experience in the SME market, keen to add additional skills to existing finance/accounting skills with exposure to all elements of a successful business.

You will be able to demonstrate good financial systems and process organisational skills, be able to work with non-finance stakeholders.
