    About the role
    The role has a focus on the provision of financial support services for the Group's development subsidiary, Wheatley Development Scotland. The Senior Finance Officer will provide an excellent service to our customers across all areas of finance support including, but not limited to, decision support, management reporting, preparation of VAT returns and cashflow forecasting. The role will also assist in the preparation of budgets and annual statutory accounts.

    The Senior Finance Officer will work with the subsidiary finance lead to ensure accurate and timely reporting of information and compliance with tax, regulatory and reporting requirements.

    Who are we looking for?
    The ideal candidate will have experience of general ledger work within a large developing company along with a thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques, VAT and statutory accounts preparation.

    The ideal candidate should also be used to working independently and be able to demonstrate experience of managing a challenging workload in a busy environment to meet all deadlines. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
